
Call for Articles
You
would be glad to know that Indiastat.com is facilitating socio-economic research
fraternity in India and abroad for more than seven years. It is rendering its
services with authentic and comprehensive compilation of secondary level
socio-economic statistical data, on over 35 variables, about India and its
states.
At
Indiastat, we are in process to revamp our site and soon you will have a new
look of it. In this process, we are looking to publish articles from
researchers, academicians, professionals and specialists in various social and
economic disciplines. The articles should include the issues of regional,
national and international interests to the attention of a wide audience of
policymakers, researchers and practitioners on various socio-economic themes.
The
submitted articles would be published on www.indiastat.com and also on its
associated web sites. The published articles will be displayed prominently for a
period of one week on its home page and thereafter the same could be retrieved
from archive. Every week, about five to ten articles will be published. All
published articles would have free access for all the visitors who would also be
invited to put their comments for further discussions on the same.
Authors
can write either in a personal capacity, or as the representative of an
organization. Articles should be around 15,000 to 35,000 characters in length.
The articles submitted would be accepted in English only.
All
interested professors, researchers, students, educators and professionals are
kindly invited to submit their articles. Articles should be sent as a Word
attachment by e-mail only, accompanied by (i) brief biographical details of the
author(s) outlining the current position held, (ii) an abstract for the table of
contents (45 words maximum), (iii) a summary (100 to 150 words), (iv) 6 key
words non-present in the title,(v) a scanned passport size photograph of the
author(s) and (vi) declaration about whether the article have earlier been
published or not. The earlier published articles must be submitted by the
author(s) only. All articles are reviewed by the Editorial Committee which
reserves the right to decide on publication. Authors will be informed of its
decision.
